Typing my way back to nature
Nicely crafted post - multimedia! Just like being there. Reminds me, must get to some woods and photograph some autumn fungi.
PS: I think the human in the falls photo improves it - gives some scale.
Very nice photos. You really capture the light well. What are you using?
what lovely photos; thank you for sharing them.
A delightful visit with nature. Thank you.
Your woods look so much like my woods. :) I love fall! Although we don't have nearly as many evergreens near our house, it's mostly Aspens. And of course, they're all bare right now. Winter's just around the bend.
@ notagain: (sorry for the delay in responding; I've been busy collecting more typers!)I'm using a pretty basic, borderline crappy camera actually -- a Kodak EasyShare. Bulky, awkward, doesn't take good indoor pictures. Temperamental flash. Clunky. It's the camera I've "loved to hate" for 4 years now.I tweak almost all the pictures in PhotoShop, usually just fiddling with brightness and contrast. It's a good lesson for me to learn, to make do with what I've got!
P.S. Obviously I have NOT learned that lesson with typewriters!
Making "do" is a great and useful skill! Thanks for taking us along on your walk, the colors are rich and beautiful.Hope to catch up with you soon!
