What a great story and from an 11 year old! I am amazed that you are not a famous author and seeing your books on my shelf. (having been read of course)
This was a lot of fun to read, and reminded me somewhat of the stories my older daughter used to write (hers were inspired by A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket). This makes me want to go back and read the Oz series.
Thanks very much for sharing it! I did spend the last few days wondering how it ended, so posting it in installments had the intended effect on me, anyway!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! The narrative voice really does sound quite Oz-ish sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be sharing an "Ozma" typewriter on my blog one of these days pretty soon ... you'll see.
That is really adorable. The ending sounds exactly as though it really came out of a children's storybook. A really lovely read!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing it with us!
Such an adorable series! Thanks for sharing it, Cameron! I really enjoyed reading it.
