Typing my way back to nature
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing it. You live in one really beautiful place.
I am envious. You live in a very beautiful place! Thank you very much for sharing its beauty with us. As for the story you wrote, I'm really looking forward to read it. Maybe you could split it in two or three installments; there's no better way to build up the tension than the (in)famous cliffhangers: "...to be continued."
That typeface looks similar to my Adler's Elite Imperial. I vote installments too.
That video and region as amazing, so is your Tippa's typeface.
This is great Cam! I love a vicarious visit since we can't be there in person very often!!!And kudos to the people of Washington for saving their post office (at least for now)!!!
You made me think; my first thought of a UPS closing is one of anxiety. But then I thought... the USPS delivers nothing I really want anymore - bills and junk and nasty things, no more 'letters' or things of pleasure. So closing it down is OK by me!
@ Spo: I type a lot of letters, so I receive a lot of letters in return. Therefore, my local post office brings me a LOT of pleasure.
I am still envious of your woods. That is a great typeface! I've never seen a Gossen in person.
Thanks Cameron. It is good you don't take your environment for granted - those look like wonderful woods indeed! You could try publshing your 9 pages as a pdf and opening an issuu.com account to host it - then you can embed it (just like a YouTube video) anywhere on the web that runs flash. There's an example here, if you are interested.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful woods! I'm quite envious, except for the getting stuck in the snow part!I think posting your story in installments is a great idea. I look forward to reading it!
Thank you for this insight in your outer world. The Gossen Tippa has got a very dignified typeface.Rob is on top of the currently available technology, I will try this myself. Sometimes, the internet amazes me.
Squee!!! I saw this post a few days ago in my reader, saw that it had a video and thought "Mark it unread and savor it!" So I did. What a great walk! You need a dog. LOL! A big lab would love to take that walk with you! (Truth be told, I'd have stolen one of those quads and made my way back up the hill...)Great post! And I owe you a letter!
Super jealous of you. I don't think I've ever been on such a nice walk. Glad you decided to go with installments. Drawing a story out can be nice =) The Gossen Tippa has such a beautiful typeface! *covets*
