Good to see someone noticed Equinox. I thought of it in the mid of the week, but then didn't schedule a post for it today. At 16:48 CEST, it was raining here, so seeing autumn in the woods is a very nice change from the weather here. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Lovely pics, Cameron, especially the Tippa awash in autumn leaves. But I must say, I was drawn to that cool silver robot. I bet Dwayne will notice it quick. ( :
hi cameron, there's an aumnal nip in the air over oxfordshire too. i'm being cajoled to chop firewood but resisting - i have to remain in denial of coming shorter days as long as i can. thanks for sharing the music room. more palace than shack i'd say. happy equinox!
happy autumn equinox! though we don't see big changes physically living in the equator, but i do feel the change of energy. enjoyed the tour of your house & the changing surroundings. beautiful as always. time flies and soon it shall all be white... but in the meantime, enjoy fall colours! rupert seems content :)
This was very nice to read - thanks! The oak that grew in front of my childhood home -- an 1848 cream-brick farmhouse -- never had colors like the ones you show here. They went from green straight to a dark brown-bronze.
I spent the day 'decommissioning' our porch garden. Since I spend much of my work day in front of a computer, it was both restful and rejuvenating.
And a happy Equinox to you too! I am missing the bounty of summer fruit (ok, perhaps I get a little too enthusiastic around watermelons), but I am enjoying how cooler weather makes for much nicer - and less sticker! - strolls. What a handsome cat, and a very impressive-looking horn!

As a "Woods" girl, I love, Love, LOVE your posts about the outside! I took a walk last night and was just blown away (as I am every fall!) by the vibrancy of the colors and the smell of the air, crisp and yummy. The days are getting shorter and the candles are coming out here too...almost time to hibernate.
I sure do like your place. What a nice life you have built for each other.
