  2. That is absolutely charming. I don't remember writing anything like that at 15--just really angsty romance fiction and things about death. A newsletter, how nice.

And I'd love to read more from your treasure trove of memories! =)

  3. It's great that you still have them. I can't really hope that maschinengeschrieben will still be online around 2050.

  4. Very nice archive find. I was typing at 15, but I doubt I could ever had written that nicely. I agree with Crystal; it would be nice to read more. Thank you for the post.

  5. That's neat. Producing a newspaper is a classic activity for a kid with a typewriter. (See: American Girl Kit of Cincinnati.)

  6. What a nice newsletter, and I'm particularly impressed by the nice formatting you gave it on the typewriter! Two nice columns, separated by a string of characters, a nice banner on top... and everything made with the typing machine! Now that's what I call an elegantly typed piece.

  7. Thanks for posting this - it's very cool! I wrote a lot of stories at 15, but formatting a newsletter like this would have been beyond me.

I would enjoy reading more of your early writings (typings?) in future posts.

  8. Great find! The layout of the newsletter is very nicely done as well; I like the usage of characters as borders. It is wonderful that all these memories have been preserved for you to find and share now; what a trip down memory lane it must be!
